KENNI

KENNI is inspired by my family's journey from the Philippines to the U.S, specifically our time in Vallejo, which was our first home here in the states.

My Lolo and Lola had a house at the end of the culdesac on Kennison Court, where I would play outside as a kid w/ my cousins. I remember being outside running around, riding bikes and scooters, and watching my cousins play basketball. The air was so crisp and the energy was always so warm, lively, and fun.

With the help of my amazingly talented friends and Phamily, I look to show and tell the story of my family's early-adjustment period here in the states, through the shared lens of the free-spirited kid I was and the person I presently am today.
